Ever spent hours investigating anomalies in your variance analysis for the month to try and explain in a helpful way to your client or correct a mistake on the bookkeeping side?

Wasted hours no more with Digits

1. Hover over the category to check the insight to see if that explains and pulls out the variance explination with no work on your part.

2. If not, check out the trend over time to see if any seasonality or otherwise could explain the change

3. If not, click on the top vendors/customers and transactions tab to see if any oddities appear

4. If still unexplained, click "View live" and that will bring you to the details page where you can dive into the transaction level details month over month to see what the explination is.

5. Once figured out. If a bookkeeping error, got to QBO, fix and refresh the report

6. If it needs an explination from the client, make a comment in the report asking them about it.
