New Portal Experience!

Hello everyone! We’ve just launched an updated design to your portal experience to make it even easier to navigate, focus on the client at hand, and invite colleagues to Digits.To start, we’ve introduced a collapsable sidebar on the left hand side of your screen. This will be where you can see notifications, an activity feed, contact community, view your ‘Shared with me’ page, and sign out. We’ve also removed the permanent sidebar that housed all of your different clients, and replaced it with a dropdown menu at the top left of your portal. This will allow you to stay focused on one client at a time without getting overwhelmed or distracted. Within this dropdown, you’ll also see a badge with a number of work items to address for each client, so you know which accounts need your attention. This is where you’ll be able to add a new client as well. Finally, we’ve made it easier to see how many colleagues are linked to each of your clients and included a link to the settings page where you

Questions about Digits pricing are often top of mind when we chat with our amazing community. Our members are using Digits amazing tools to WOW their clients, but they can’t believe it is free to use! Over time, we’ve engaged with and learned from many of you in the community about your thoughts on pricing so that it’s sustainable to your firm and lets you grow your business. We are happy to share that as we continue to build, improve and expand Digits' offerings, we are introducing pricing to Digits. As mentioned, we want our pricing to truly unlock the growth of your firm on Digits. To that effect, we made the decision to allow for the first 5 clients on Digits to be free forever. Beginning Nov 30th, Digits is offering three additional paid plans. Digits Pricing is Live!

A few weeks ago, we sent everyone an email letting them know that we’d be introducing pricing tiers, and how that would affect each of you. If you missed that email, please check your inbox for a note from @Michael. As of today, you’ll see a new experience within your Digits account. Our pricing tiers are based on the number of clients you link. Your first five clients will be free forever – once you add additional clients, you’ll see a prompt to upgrade to our next tier. We put together an article explaining more about this process here. Non Profit Language

I had a meeting with a potential new client who is a non profit and they liked the software, and maybe I Just don’t see how yet because they aren’t my client yet, but can Digits reports be created with the non profits language?  “Statement of Financial Position” and “Statement of Activity”, etc.?

We all know that there are simply too many passwords to remember these days, so we wanted to make your life just a little bit easier on Digits 👀We’ve gotten many requests for an easier login experience, and we’re thrilled to introduce magic links! Any user with an existing account will now be able to request a magic link to sign in. Here’s how it works:Head to https://my.digits.com/login to enter your email address and click “Sign in with Email” Click “Send Magic Link to Email” and head to your inbox Find the email and click “Sign In”. Ta-da! You’re in!If you prefer to use your password, you can still do so :) We’ll be using magic link technology to improve other features in the future as well. What is your favorite fall drink?

It has turned into fall in Rhode Island (where I live)!  For myself and my family, we quickly adopt fall's wonderful assortment of delicious drinks. Our favorite fall drinks are hot chocolate for my 8 yr old, Pumpkin Chai for my wife, and a Brick Wall (Apple cider syrup, bourbon, and a splash of ginger ale)  for me.What is your favorite fall drink?

Revenue vs Below the Line Other Revenue

Most companies show Revenue accounts above the line or Operating part of the business.  I think those are what should be captured for your Sales Analysis.  However, below the line there are other Income Line Items which are not really part of operations.  These are also being included in your sales section.  I think they should be excluded because they cloud the revenue analysis.

Inaccuracies

Has anyone else run into inaccuracies in the executive summary? For example, for one of my clients, it says they had a $1900 decrease in spend with one of their vendors in Q2, but that’s not even possible when total spend on this vendor all year has only been $1200. I removed it from the executive summary but of course, that still pops up when they hover over that area in the Income Statement.

Xiid Corp - the Equity section of the balance sheet is not displaying correctly. The Account numbers are not listing as they should. Please fix and also remove accounts that have a zero balance.

Account manager versus admin access

Hello, Is there a way to give an employee Admin access and then select which companies I do not want her to have access to?  It appears in order for her to share links and send emails to clients, she does not have that capability as account manager.  But if I give her full admin access, then she can see my personal business financials which I do not want her to have.  Thank you,

Customer Receivables Categories not working.

The Under Customer Transactions and Receivables, the totals at the top are correct but the Categories are picking up all sales not just for that customer. Any ideas?
