Transaction Review- Action Items Understanding the Workflow

I want to make sure I understand the Transaction Review / Action Items workflow. Am I correct in my assumption that Transaction Review will only show transactions from the accounts that are set up in the Transaction Review screen Settings??What if I have a transaction that IS categorized, but because of its size or other issues, I want the client to review it to verify that it is in the correct category? If I add the category to Settings that the transaction is posted in, do I then have to go through every one of the transactions in that category to find the one to send to the client?You may ask “Why categorize it if you aren’t sure?” Well, if we did not categorize transactions that we were not 100% sure about, we could have over half of the client’s monthly transactions in uncategorized. That would certainly irritate the client and would make it appear that we have no experience or knowledge to make educated assumptions about categorization. So is there a plan to allow me as the accou

Dashboard graphs have no label to indicate cash or accrual

I love the graphs that focus on cash runway, cash balance & net burn. However, that immediately makes me ask if the graphs shown on the dashboard are on a cash basis or an accrual basis? Nothing tells me. And if I don’t know, I promise you my client won’t know.In my opinion, I would rather have them be on an accrual basis, but I can see instances where I or the client would want to know these items on a cash basis as well. So ultimately, I would love the good old QBO toggle. But in the meantime, can they at least have a label to prevent any confusion?Don’t know if this is cash or accrual without going back to QBO

Getting Started

I added Digits app in QBO accountant. I have launched digits from QBO and I am logged in. However, I get a screen that states Add your accounting firm and has a button Get Started. However, that button is overlaying the “terms” link and does nothing to go to Get Started.  ??  Suggestions?

I have an account issue… I have one client where there is an ‘X’ is next to “Integration Manage”. I have disconnected the connection in QBO and reconnected it via Digits and the X is still there. I don’t even know how it became like this, so I need some assistance. All their numbers for this year are there except for November...where they are not present.  Also, I wanted to know if someone can provide me with some insight on how to delete clients from account.  Thanks for the help.

Cash reporting

I have been using Digits for 2 years now and requested cash based reporting since day 1.  I have been told numerous times that it will be done but never received a firm commitment from Digts that it is actually being worked on.I’m not the only person asking for this.  Many others need to show financial reports for cash based clients.Are you really going to do this or just keep kicking the can down the road?

Editing Reports Footnotes

We need additional footnote customization to meet US AICPA compliance requirements.Need to disclose in footnote on each page of financial statements:   For Management Use Only - No Assurance Provided.   See accompanying notes to financial statements.Currently, editing reports to show this footnote does not fit onto area designated.We would also need to include an additional page to the report “Notes to FInancial Statements” with further disclosures that need to accompany these reports.IF we can get this to work, it would be FANTASTIC! and we’ll become paid members to roll-out to all our clients.Thanks for you assistance.

I have a client with a “Ask My Accountant” expense account and none of the transactions in that account ace showing up. I have 2 other accounts where it seems to be working perfectly but I cant figure out why this specific account isn't working. Let me know if anyone has an Idea. Thanks!

What does Digits do?

Hi everyone, I am new to Digits and I’m trying to figure out how it can help me.  I am honestly just confused about what Digits is. I have connected 2 of my bookkeeping clients with QuickBooks Online and I am confused if Digits is supposed to automate the bookkeeping functions (transaction classification, etc.) or if it is mostly a reporting platform?

Is it possible to add commentary in a report but not in the executive summery?

The Executive Summary is a great spot for big observations but we would like to be able to add context and comments in the body of the P&L, BS etc.  Is there a way to add comments in more than the executive summary?
